The 1851 Trust increases young people’s STEM learning opportunities by accessing the science, technology, engineering and mathematics of sailing and the America’s Cup. The Trust engages young people with STEM learning, through the provision of STEM resources, which demonstrate the real-life applications of STEM subjects in relation to the INEOS TEAM UK challenge for the America’s Cup.
1851 also enables young people to experience first-hand the benefits that sailing can have in enriching lives. As a national sailing initiative for UK based students, Rebels Sailing provides sailing opportunities to young people, some of which are from disadvantaged backgrounds. The trust delivers various programmes to facilitate these goals, with support from their valued partners and sponsors.
Into the Blue were approached by the 1851 Trust to provide graphic support for the rebrand of their physical and digital learning zones.
We delivered a graphic visualising the project and followed the project through from the initial concepts to brand development, design of physical space and mobile assets, and brand and messaging alignment in the relaunch of their digital space, ‘STEMCrew.co.uk’.
